In Europe for instance, between 2003 and 2020, the amount invested increased from 0.2 to 1.9 billion euro. 1 This is a trend we have also seen in the US, as invested capital in the health sector has grown from 26.3 billion USD in 2017 to reach 59 billion USD in 2022. 2
