ABSTRACT
This chapter explores how teaching is evaluated through reflective practice. We discuss the reasons why we should reflect and highlight some strategies which can be used in reflection. We also explore potential barriers to reflection such as confirmation bias and an over-focus on outcomes. The importance of critical thinking is highlighted as well as how reflection can be turned into action.
