ABSTRACT

This chapter discusses two innovative psychotherapeutic constructs: Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Integrative Neuro Linguistic Programming (INLP), both of these are patient-driven modalities that operate on the concept that the personality comprises of many thoughts and emotions called, “Parts.” Again, an anecdote is used to explain and simplify the concepts. Integration of the Polyvagal Theory is applied in this chapter for even more clarity.
