ABSTRACT

There is no single best way to be creative, just as there is no one path to being successful in theatre, the arts, or life. It’s about discovering the path that is most aligned with what you value, desire, and can offer the world. To paraphrase the showtune master Jerry Herman, you are who you are. Your ideal self might be a Broadway star or the CEO of the company. Perhaps, instead, you want to be part of a bigger whole. In the theatre world, that might be anything from acting in the ensemble, operating the front of house, working backstage, or simply being part of the audience. In real world, you can be creative in almost any arena you can imagine.
