ABSTRACT

How does the actual creative process work? The first step is distinguishing the symptom from the problem. An actor might be having trouble getting cast, but the solutions would be very different if the issue is a lack of talent or being a poor fit for the roles. Once people are confident that they have identified the right problem, they generate many ideas and then explore these ideas to choose the very best one. If implementing this idea does not work, one simply tries a new path. We further discuss the ideas of the Aha! Moment, incubation, and how this process can help someone strategize the best way to reach creative success.
