ABSTRACT
Here, Kinet circles around the phallus as the mysterious ‘it’ we want to be or want to have to satisfy the (M-)Other’s desire completely. That way, we can stay or become the One and Only. The phallus makes the world go round, and it derives its meaning and significance entirely from the context in which it operates. It can appear in misleading or paradoxical guises, as illustrated in this tragicomic case study.
