ABSTRACT

This chapter concludes the book by revisiting the aim of providing the necessary tools for effective STEM teaching in the early childhood years, integrated with the arts. Educators need resources, guidance, and models in order to offer all students a rich and high-quality experience with STEM disciplines. Integrating STEM content with the arts (STEAM) involves imagination and a willingness to experiment with new approaches while developing an expanded vision. This book offers a path for the early childhood educator to follow and to experiment with their young students. The reader is encouraged to use the book as a stepping-off place for them to soar and try new things and go to new places taking their students along with them.
