ABSTRACT
The fifth chapter deals with emerging technology and how it remakes human beings and human society with the possibility that human development could be manipulated to benefit a particular group of elites. The first part of the chapter explains transhumanism and how transhumanist ideas could be realized with the help of nano-info-bio-cogno (NBIC) technologies. The second part of the chapter explains some of the latest surveillance technologies and how they are used to predict and influence human behavior. The third part discusses technologies of population control as they relate to programmable money, biotechnology, and neurowarfare. This includes an analysis of the dangers of proposed CBDCs, genetic weapons, and neurostrike weapons.
