ABSTRACT

This chapter describes the Great Teacher Language (GTL) Frameworks for Transforming Student Behavior and Parent Relationships and the positive impact they can have on teachers, students, and parents. Each GTL Framework is composed of the 11 GTL Word Categories that make up GTL. Both GTL Frameworks highlight the power of GTL and the transformational purpose for using GTL. The GTL Frameworks for Transforming Student Behavior and Parent Relationships serve as a significant starting point for revisiting our teacher language and provide teachers with a reflective model for turning their Language of Practice into GTL.
