ABSTRACT

This chapter provides advice on writing up case study research, as well as visualization suggestions and dissemination practices. It provides general strategies about audience, genre, forum/venue, writing habits, planning, and revision. The chapter provides methods for using writing as an opportunity for learning called writing-to-learn and its complement, visualizing-to-learn. It discusses, too, the timing and planning necessary for writing case studies, as well as writing up methods, including positionality statements. It lays out strategies for visualizing case studies. This chapter ends with suggestions for dissemination practices on social media, including producing updates/follow-ups, sharing research, and public engagement.
