ABSTRACT
This chapter offers an introduction to the other teams that can be working on a response. This includes an overview of how search and recovery teams work with other agencies to grid, search and itemise a crash site to support positive identifications at the mortuary. The chapter also includes an insight into how the Humanitarian Assistance Centre (HAC) is involved with gathering the details and data given by families to support the identification. This helps to link the centre, the people that work there to support families and the more remote operational teams and how they work together.
