ABSTRACT

This chapter describes the specialist skills of the Go Team and where they fit into the airline plans and early response phase of an accident. It explores how to recruit suitable and experienced personnel and how to train and make them ready to deploy. The chapter includes a checklist for packing that can be useful for airlines to use when training their teams. The chapter goes on to explain what the Go Team does when it arrives at the given destination and its first actions to support the airline and report back to the Crisis Management Centre (CMC).
