ABSTRACT

WE can now consider perception of our own bodily state. By bodily sense we perceive that our legs are moving, that our head is turned, that our arm is behind our back, that we are keeping our balance, that our body-temperature is up, our ears cold, our stomach distended, our gut full, our throat dry, our heart beating, our muscles tensed or relaxed, and all the other things that we discover about the current state of our body without recourse to sight, hearing, taste, smell or touch.
