ABSTRACT
One of the most prolific songwriters at the Bombay film industry was Rajinder Krishan Duggal (June 6, 1919–September 23, 1987). He was born in Jalalpur Jattan, a hamlet in Gujrat district of the Punjab. That place has given birth to many other personalities who made a mark in the film industry including the family of Raj Babbar. Pakistani leader Ejaz Durrani also belongs to Jalalpur Jattan. Some reports suggest that character actor Manmohan Krishna was also from Jalalpur Jattan, but his roots are generally associated with Lahore.
