ABSTRACT
There are four basic components to a person’s personal identity. These are explained and described in their relationship to today’s “trusted and secure” identification cards and documents. The four components represent “Personal Identity” in relation to the nation’s legal and everyday social ID requirements. For this purpose, specific words and technical terms are used in describing this subject and an extensive glossary is provided.
