ABSTRACT
The first chapter outlines how the Covid pandemic occurred and what actions were taken worldwide. School closures played a central role everywhere. Building on this, basic concepts such as education, educational equity, and educational inequality will be defined because these form the basis for moving closer to the formulated goal in the next chapters.
