ABSTRACT
When it comes to education, the first thing that comes to people’s mind is combined images full of teachers, students, blackboards, chalks, and so on. In fact, these images just form one of many types of education – school education. School education is not the only type of human education. Based on different places where educational activities happen, education can be divided into school education, family education, and community education, each of which contains many specific educational forms. Based on natural regionalization, Southwest China starts from the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in the north and extends to the North Gulf of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, covering Sichuan, Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi, Tibet, Chongqing: all together six provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities), almost equal to one quarter of China’s total area. Vertical changes of the landform determine the vertical differences in the climate.
