ABSTRACT

In this interview, Annie Rogers elaborates on three cases, each pinpointing a different aspect of psychoanalytic theory. One case is the encounter with the unconscious, and how children enact hidden memories throughout their playing. A second case illustrates the power of the signifier and what this can provoke for the analyst and the patient. A last case indicates the matter of jouissance and the end of the treatment. Annie Rogers indicates how she was compelled to write about those case and as such, the interview delves deeper into the matter of writing.
