ABSTRACT
We begin with Futurist Filippo Marinetti, then move on to Dadaist Hugo Ball. Then, we touch briefly on The Living Theater, Carol Schneeman, and other performance artists through the 1950s to 1970s. Then, we explore performance art from the 1980s to present day, with artists like Marina Abramović, Laurie Anderson, and Yoko Ono, along with contemporary performers like Emilia Fart and David Datuna.
