ABSTRACT
If memory serves me, the idea for The Journal of Secondary Gifted Education, was born during a Sunday afternoon car trip. Just off I-35 between Dallas and Austin, lies Salado, Texas, a little town that boasts lots of antique shops and one of the best restaurants in the state—The Stagecoach Inn (if you go, ask for plenty of hush-puppies ). It was to this restaurant that my wife and I were driving (we often took this hour-long trip for Sunday lunch).
