ABSTRACT
Educational travel is an exciting technique for involving students in their own education and for applying principles of experimental education to the G/T classroom. Advanced preparation can help to ensure that the travel experience will be not only the ultimate in “hands on” education but also a chance to build group cohesiveness and trust. Educational travel is potentially one of the most exciting and rewarding pedagogical experiences available to teachers and students alike. Practice problems are an exciting method for helping students master the Creative Problem Solving (CPS) process. In the spring of 1990, Clause Grueben, an East German genetic engineer, left his homeland along with thousands of other East Germans who took advantage of their country's new liberal border restrictions. The Databank itself is useful to the students who produce it and others who are beginning the college search.
