ABSTRACT

Sources of information on non-US firms including country experts, international associations, government agencies, publications and databases. This is a very comprehensive series which provides information on holdings, services and personnel of information centres throughout the world organised under subject heading. Many countries produce relatively inexpensive annual collections of international facts. Country reports are readily available but likely to be expensive. Some of the major firms of accountants produce booklets on doing business in specific countries. Numerous publishers produce international directories of authors, musicians, scientists etc. The big names in company information operate on a truly international level and in various media. Most serious business papers have international sections, but they are generally heavily biassed towards their own country.
