ABSTRACT
This chapter focuses on drunk and disorderly behaviours and the consequences of engaging in such activities. The facilitator reads through the newspaper article entitled ‘Drunken Man Arrested for Indecent Behaviour in Park’. The article describes how a man was apprehended by two police officers who had been called to the scene by local residents. They had seen the drunken man walking around the park apparently indecently exposing himself. The man was placed in custody at the local police station and is due to appear before the courts next Thursday. The young people are asked to identify what led to the drunken behaviour described in the article and to consider what people actually get out of drinking.
