Street robbery is theft of property or money through the offender’s use of physical force or fear against a victim while in public. The crime of street robbery requires the presence of a victim who suffers actual injury or is threatened with harm. Burglary is typically defined as the unlawful entry into almost any building or structure with the intent to commit any crime inside. No physical breaking and entering is required; the offender may simply trespass through an open door. Violence between a number of people in public, which can cause distress to those in the vicinity. Sexual assault generally refers to any crime in which the offender subjects the victim to sexual touching that is unwanted and offensive. Assault with an offensive weapon is where someone is injured as a result of an attack which uses an implement, such as a knife or a gun.
