ABSTRACT
The facilitator should take a little time at the beginning of the session to welcome every pupil by saying, ‘Hello,’ to them by name. Once the facilitator has welcomed everyone the facilitator can remind the pupils that they have come to this group to take part in some fun activities. Pupils can be reminded of the structure of the session and what they will be asked to do. Using the audio CD provided, the facilitator can play Scenario 15 and allow the pupils to listen to what happens between the three characters. They will hear that Amir is unhappy with Ella and no longer wants to be her friend because she lied and said he tried to run out of school.
