ABSTRACT
Before bringing the pupils into the group the facilitator can place the chairs into a circle. This position allows the facilitator to see all the pupils and creates a relaxed atmosphere that supports a positive sharing environment, whilst also allowing enough room for practical tasks later on in the session. The authors have provided picture cards that can be printed, cut out and placed in the bag. Once the picture card has been removed from the bag the facilitator or pupil shows it to the rest of the group and then gives a brief description of their picture card. It may also be useful to question the whole group when a pupil is unable to initially provide a description.
