ABSTRACT
Research and practice have demonstrated the critical importance of engaging civil society to consistently pressure the government to promote and implement reform efforts that reduce corruption in developing countries. This chapter describes practical work that was accomplished in Russia, Ukraine, Afghanistan, and many other countries – with some important impacts – to build the capacity and engage civil society organizations in positive dialogues with the government to advocate for anti-corruption reforms and achieve important changes.
