ABSTRACT
In Part II we narrow our context considerations, moving on from those elements and requirements relating to the regulatory environment more broadly, to explore those that create and comprise the operational environment within which the Compliance function works – the compliance environment which underpins the focus of the function. In Chapter 4 we examine factors that contribute to this, looking at influences upon it (both external and internal) and considering what the function’s current operational environment looks like.
