ABSTRACT

Emotional intelligence is the ability to identify and regulate one’s emotions and understand the emotions of the others. A high level of emotional intelligence helps the peoples to build relationships, reduce stress, defuse conflict and improve our sense of satisfaction. Emotional intelligence can have a significant impact on sexual relationships and sexual health outcomes. People with higher emotional intelligence are better equipped to communicate effectively, understand their own emotions and the emotions of their partner and empathise with their partner’s needs and desires. Emotional intelligence begins with oneself. It is important to understand our own feelings about emotions and to learn that self-understanding comes from identifying our own feelings. Square breathing, also known as box breathing, is a technique used when taking slow, deep breaths. It can heighten performance and concentration while also being a powerful stress reliever. Parenting is one of the hardest roles in the world. Emotionally intelligent parents are compassionate towards themselves as well as others.
