Theoretical Perspectives on the Successful Elements of Endowment and Waqf in Higher Educational Institutions

This chapter discusses the elements leading to the success of endowment and waqf funds in HEIs. There are several elements that drive the success of these funds, including appropriate investment planning, superior investment committees, highly skilled investment managers, alumni networks, diversity of income sources, and effective fundraising.
