ABSTRACT
Data analysis is one of the main chapters of project or thesis writing as it deals with understanding of our objectives with the help of numbers. There are so many tools in the market for data analysis & presentation, but worldwide MS Excel is used as a beginner’s software. Data visualization helps us in finding the pattern, shape and size of the data using graphs & charts whereas, the descriptive analysis performs the same but more descriptively using expressing parameters like mean, variance, skewness, maximum value, minimum value etc as numbers. Analysis of variance (ANOVA) methods come handy under experimental method and quasiexperimental methods where we are trying to measure the impact of a variable on a population. ANOVA is used when we need to study more than two populations. Correlation in statistics is a measure of how close two variables are to have a linear relationship with each other.
