ABSTRACT

This chapter elucidates a two-part stakeholder engagement exercise that took place in Bratislava, Slovakia, in order to identify the key stakeholders and initiate their digital twinning journey. Part One of the stakeholder engagement aims to align stakeholders towards a common vision for Slovakia’s National DT (NDT). Part Two of the stakeholder engagement builds upon the previous engagement exercise. The all-encompassing DT framework that encapsulates the ‘six-pillars’ highlights the complexity and relatedness amongst different domains in the co-creation and co-development of an NDT. The implementation of an NDT inevitably necessitates changes in the modus operandi across different organisations, sectors, and regions in Slovakia. Stakeholder identification is of utmost importance to the entire stakeholder engagement process.
