ABSTRACT

In this chapter, we explore the development of radio technology, gaining an understanding of its major events, basic principles, and the process of radio transmission. We discover why FM became the dominant technology and explore the factors that affect the distance of radio transmission. Additionally, we learn about the evolution of radio as a mass medium and its beginnings in the commercial sphere. By the end of the chapter, readers will have a comprehensive overview of radio's history and its significance as a communication medium.
