ABSTRACT
The solution to global environmental issues requires much information, and for many organizations to intervene and to work in collaboration, sharing information, expertise, and advice. Such is impossible with just the UN alone and hence requires support from other organizations and their programs to work towards achieving a sustainable planet. The chapter throws light on some of such important organizations and their activities.
