ABSTRACT

Chapter 2 focuses on the rise of the analytical Marxist theory of justice and its main content. The liberal theory of justice tends to emphasize formal equality, and even Rawls did not advocate the complete elimination of factors that may cause unequal outcomes. In this regard, analytical Marxist scholars represented by G. A. Cohen have turned to the issue of justice. Cohen has constantly defended socialist justice and substantive equality to formulate an analytical Marxist theory of justice based on the research paradigm of normative philosophy.
