ABSTRACT
Chapter 5 introduces theoretical claims of radical egalitarianism. In the face of neoliberal theory, not only analytical Marxism but also radical egalitarianism represented by Nielsen has criticized it. Through his critique of Rawls’ liberal egalitarianism and Nozick’s libertarianism, Nielsen has put forward more reasonable and perfect principles of justice, analyzed social conditions for achieving substantive equality and investigated its feasibility.
