ABSTRACT

The implementation of inclusive teaching approaches is complex. A number of factors can impact an instructor’s experiences, especially for those who identify with groups historically excluded in higher education. Written for instructors from such groups and their allies, this chapter provides guidance on several topics that emerge throughout the book to support the teaching effectiveness of diverse colleagues as inclusive instructors. Presented are several actions that diverse instructors can take to support their practices in addition to guidance per content discussed in previous chapters of the book.
