ABSTRACT
Given the sophistication of generative artificial intelligence (AI) and the impacts on higher education, this chapter explores the promise these technologies hold in supporting more inclusive classroom environments. Also presented are several challenges generative AI presents to equity work. Relationships between artificial intelligence and equity will continue to evolve as the technology changes over time and higher education instructors as a result must be able to adapt.
