ABSTRACT
In this chapter we describe steps that instructors can take to assess whether their teaching approaches are resulting in the desired outcomes. We discuss what outcomes instructors may want to consider when assessing inclusive teaching approaches as well as how to carry out such projects in ways that are meaningful and manageable. We acknowledge that these steps take time, effort, and potentially additional professional development, and simultaneously emphasize their importance.
