ABSTRACT

This chapter outlines strategies for facilitating content review in flexible courses. Readers will gain a greater appreciation for providing course materials in multiple formats and/or helping students convert course materials into formats that help them succeed. They will also examine how to organize course content and course environments well so students can find and use content easily. Lastly, they will study interactive lecture strategies that support students in different modalities. In this chapter’s case story, Janett Silvers describes her experiences supporting faculty who develop flexible courses, with a focus on content curation and delivery strategies. In this chapter’s activities, readers will plan (a) to provide content in multiple formats, (b) to make it easier for students to access and use course content, and (c) to organize the LMS environment where students find and review content.
