ABSTRACT

Throughout this book, we discuss multiple tools that we use and that we have found to be helpful in creating engaging virtual environments. We know tools change all the time and because of this, we stress the importance of focusing on the learning and not the tool. However, we also know that as virtual instructors we can benefit from sharing ideas with each other and suggestions on tools to try. Sometimes we mention the same tool in multiple chapters, and this guide will help identify when and where we talk about specific tools. We also provide additional supports and resources within our Google folder and will update this folder as we continue learning and experimenting and engaging our learners in the virtual environment.
