ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on the seven WNS liberal arts outcomes – (a) Effective Reasoning and Problem Solving, (b) Inclination to Inquire and Lifelong Learning, (c) Integration of Learning, (d) Intercultural Effectiveness, (e) Leadership, (f) Moral Character, and (g) Well-Being – and examines the relationship between these student learning outcomes and development toward self-authorship. It also maps the seven WNS Outcomes across self-evolution levels and by three domains of development. Analyses presented in this chapter reveal the patterns about how students reported the outcomes by year, race/ethnicity, gender and across self-evolution trajectories. Lastly, the chapter documents lessons the researchers learned in the process of their exploration of the WNS Outcomes.
