ABSTRACT
By the time my study abroad experience ended, I found myself to be different in many ways. It was an unforgettable experience, and an experience that is sometimes difficult to put into words. It helped me to grow in a way that Wake Forest could not. I went through obvious changes like learning a new language and learning how to become more independent, but my time in Madrid also helped me to become more open-minded and to discover the vast differences in culture and societies that encompass the world in which we live.
