ABSTRACT
The previous chapter paints a poignant picture of the dubious future of affirmative action in its various forms. In an effort to significantly revamp, and in some cases abolish, race-conscious or gender-specific affirmative action, states such as California, Florida, and Texas have adopted percentage plans. This chapter illustrates how percentage plans fall short of diversifying our campuses.
