ABSTRACT
As we have seen, the landscape for small private colleges and universities has changed dramatically in recent years. These shifts have put considerable pressure on the usual work of leading a campus, as leaders try to navigate a rapidly changing environment, maintain fidelity to mission and shared governance, and envision a fiscally sustainable and academically robust future for the campus.
