ABSTRACT
Eduardo attributes his success in life to the constant encouragement he was given as a child growing up. His mother in particular played a big role in motivating him to work hard in school to achieve a better life. Eduardo remembers making frequent trips to the local library with his mother from the time he was in third grade. Eduardo is very proud of all of his academic accomplishments. Eduardo has always taken on leadership roles in the student organizations in which he participates. Eduardo held an important leadership position in ROTC during his participation. Eduardo was accepted to the summer program and had a phenomenal educational experience. Eduardo hopes to pursue medical school after earning his bachelor’s degree. Like other undocumented students, Eduardo has been resourceful in finding scholarships that do not require legal citizenship.
