ABSTRACT
This conclusion comes back to the idea of biopower and the culture industry to reflect how these forces, and specifically, resistance to them, informed Schulman's writing. It summarizes and connects the conclusions from Chapters 3 and 4 regarding her novels about the AIDS epidemic, as well as the ideas from Chapter 5 concerning how the experience of the epidemic still informs her writing.
