ABSTRACT
This chapter analyzes how the Jordan myth and Michael Jordan as the hero of his own myth impacted communities and individuals outside the American culture, which had bred the myth. The analysis covers case studies from North America, South America, Europe, Africa, Asia, Australia, and Oceania. In this chapter, the manifestations of the Jordan myth as well as its functions in different cultures of the world are discussed.
