ABSTRACT
The dissertation is the biggest challenge of achieving any doctoral degree. This research project may be the most extensive paper you have ever written. The aim is to test a hypothesis, evaluate a program, or answer questions about organizational leadership. The impact of your research may influence public policy or reveal a new perspective on an issue affecting schools or organizations. During this chapter, we will discover what can be expected during the “voyage” of the dissertation. This chapter will discuss Chapters 1–5 of the dissertation, and tools for the journey will be analyzed.
