Intercultural competence and internationalization at home in the Chinese higher education context

This chapter first introduces the concepts of internationalization and globalization and their relationships. Then, internationalization at home in the Chinese higher education field is illustrated in detail. Meanwhile, this chapter defines the keyword intercultural competence and the significance of the study. Finally, a short introduction to the book structure is provided.
